Kris Statlander is out of action with a knee injury.

She was removed from the promotion's official power rankings on August 10 after having been ranked #2 in her division on August 3. Tony Schiavone then revealed on commentary during Wednesday's edition of Dynamite that she is injured.

Statlander confirmed the injury in a social media post on Thursday.

"Welp. One knee fixed, one to go. After the first knee injury I came back stronger and better than ever so it’s all over for you all when I come back from this one. I’m sorry to let you all done once again. I’ll be back bigger, more powerful, and more than a woman," she posted

Statlander may have suffered the injury during last Friday's taping of AEW Dark. She appeared to land awkwardly on her leg during the finish of her match against Sierra. She could be seen grabbing her right knee after delivering a big boot to her opponent.

Statlander previously suffered a torn ACL to her left knee that required surgery in June of 2020. She was out of action until April 2021.
