AEW’s Leila Grey undergoes ACL surgery
Leila Grey has undergone surgery.
The AEW wrestler suffered an ACL injury during her TBS title match against Mercedes Mone on the December 6, 2025 AEW Collision taping.
She posted to social media on Thursday that she recently had surgery, writing:
“Hey guys. I finally had my knee surgery yesterday. Everything went well. I’m home recovering and starting therapy tomorrow. Thank you all for the support during this time.”
A week after suffering the injury, Grey finished first in a WBFF competition while competing with her knee in a brace.
Grey revealed on January 19 that after consulting with surgeons, she would delay surgery until she regained a greater range of motion in her leg.
Before her injury, Grey had been a member of SkyFlight alongside Scorpio Sky, Dante Martin and Darius Martin, with Christopher Daniels. She defeated Zayda Steel in a singles match at ROH Final Battle Zero Hour the night before suffering the injury against Mone on Collision.
