AEW’s Ruby Soho to undergo surgery after suffering broken nose

Following the injury that she suffered at All Out, AEW’s Ruby Soho is set to undergo surgery.

Soho suffered a broken nose while teaming with Ortiz against Tay Melo & Sammy Guevara on the pre-show for All Out earlier this month. It was revealed today that, with her having to undergo surgery, Soho won’t be able to appear at 1PW’s A New Twist of Fate event in the United Kingdom on Saturday, October 1.

Soho said she broke her nose in two places and also has a “mess of a septum.”

“Due to the injury that I received at All Out, a broken nose in two places and a mess of a septum, I have to have surgery. And due to the scheduling of that surgery and the recovery time, I won’t be able to make it to the show on October 1,” Soho said in a video uploaded by 1PW. “You guys, I’m really, really sorry that I’m not gonna be there. Honestly, this is the only thing that would keep me from coming back to England. I was very, very much looking forward to that show and very much looking forward to meeting all of you and seeing all of you again. So for that, I do truly apologize.”

1PW announced that Soho will instead debut for the promotion at their No Turning Back event on Saturday, February 18, 2023.

Melo & Guevara retained their AAA Mixed Tag Team titles against Soho & Ortiz at All Out. Soho suffered the nose injury when taking a knee to the face from Melo.
