AEW’s Tony Khan ‘not going to comment’ on MJF situation

AEW general manager and head of creative Tony Khan issued a “no comment” when asked about MJF at the post-Double or Nothing media scrum.

The first question asked of Khan during his solo portion of the scrum was for his perspective on what happened with MJF this past weekend, after MJF no-showed a meet and greet at AEW Double or Nothing Fan Fest, then may have booked himself a flight out of Las Vegas on Saturday night, leading to rampant speculation that he would no-show Sunday’s pay-per-view.

“I’m not gonna comment on that,” Khan said.

“I’ve got a lot of stuff from the pay-per-view that I can comment on, but I’m not going to comment on that.”

A Fightful report after Double or Nothing stated that MJF claimed to have arrived at Double or Nothing “shortly before his match, left right after, and has a lot to think about.”

MJF appeared as scheduled and lost to Warldow in the opening match at Double or Nothing.
