Andrade el Idolo wins German Wrestling Federation Championship

Andrade

Andrade continues to win titles for promotions around the world.

He won the German Wrestling Federation World title at GWF Global Warning 2026 on Saturday in Berlin, Germany.

Andrade defeated Rambo for the title. Rambo had held the championship since winning it from Axel Tischer, the former Alexander Wolfe in NXT, and Metehan in a three-way match in November.

Andrade now holds top titles for The Crash in Mexico, World Wrestling Council in Puerto Rico, and GWF in Germany.

He’ll have a chance to qualify for a shot at the AEW World Championship next weekend in Australia at AEW Grand Slam, where he will wrestle Hangman Page. The winner of that match will advance to challenge for the AEW World Championship at Revolution on March 15.

Andrade is 4-0 in singles competition since returning to AEW. He defeated Angelico on the January 17 episode of Collision and Magnus on the January 24 episode of Collision. He then defeated Swerve Strickland on the January 28 episode of Dynamite and Kenny Omega on the February 4 episode of Dynamite to advance to Grand Slam.
