Anthony Ogogo returns to AEW at Dark: Elevation taping
Anthony Ogogo made his in-ring AEW return at tonight’s Dark: Elevation taping in Duluth, Georgia.
Ogogo teamed with Nick Comoroto, Aaron Solo and QT Marshall of The Factory against four enhancement talents in an eight-man tag team match at the taping. The Factory were victorious in the contest. The Dark: Elevation match was Ogogo’s first since June, when he teamed with Marshall to defeat Cody Rhodes and Lee Johnson on Dynamite.
Marshall revealed in an interview last month that Ogogo had gone back to the United Kingdom this past summer to have an eye surgery, the tenth the tenth total eye operation that Ogogo has had.
A 2012 Olympic bronze medalist in boxing, Ogogo faced Cody Rhodes at the Double or Nothing pay-per-view on May 30 in a losing effort. Ogogo has had just five career matches, four of them coming in AEW. His AEW signing was announced in October 2019.
