Austin & Colten Gunn make return on AEW Collision
The Bang Bang Gang are a foursome again.
After Juice Robinson and Ace Austin scored the win over Daniel Garcia and Wheeler Yuta on Collision, Robinson motioned to Moxley that he wanted a Continental title match. Garcia and Yuta recovered and went in for the attack, but Austin & Colten Gunn came out for the save, officially reuniting with Robinson and Austin.
In a backstage interview posted after Collision, Austin Gunn said usually they have two words to say, but tonight we have four: The Gunns are back. Colten said that he may have ripped his patella in half, but he wasn’t going to wait nine months to a year to return to in-ring action as the boys needed him. Juice Robinson finished the promo, saying he beat Jon Moxley before and he would do it again.
It was reported last month that Colten had been cleared to return to in-ring action.
Colten Gunn had been out of action for months
Colten suffered the injury back in July, having just returned to the promotion in his first match since that February. Austin had made appearances with the Bang Bang Gang since then, but hadn’t wrestled a match since March when he participated in a 21-man Blackjack Battle Royal at AEW Revolution.
