Britt Baker in-ring return added to AEW Dynamite
Britt Baker returns this Wednesday.
AEW’s social media confirmed that Baker would be returning to the ring this Wednesday against an unnamed opponent. It would be her first match in over a month.
“After one month away, Dr. @realBrittBaker D.M.D returns to #AEW, looking to climb the ranks of the Women’s Division once again! Don’t miss the return of the D.M.D in Bridgeport CT!,” they wrote.
Baker made her return to AEW at Forbidden Door after being gone for most of the year following two herniated discs, a torn labrum, and a transient ischemic attack. She ended up confronting Mercedes Mone and the two had a match at All In, where Mone won. Her most recent match was a victory over Serene Deeb at AEW Dynamite Title Tuesday.
The card for next week’s Dynamite:
- Konosuke Takeshita vs. Adam Cole – if Cole wins, he earns a match against MJF at Full Gear
- Hangman Page & Christian Cage vs. Jay White and Juice Robinson
- Britt Baker to compete
- Mina Shirakawa returns
