Britt Baker officially cleared to return to the ring

Britt Baker has officially been cleared to return to the ring.

In a tweet on Friday, Baker confirmed that she’s been cleared and will be an entrant in the Casino Battle Royale at All Out on Saturday, August 31: “CLEARED and ready to win this Casino Battle Royale at #AllOut! @AEWrestling”

Baker suffered a concussion while teaming with Riho against Bea Priestley & Shoko Nakajima at Fight for the Fallen last month.

On the Being the Elite episode that was released on July 29, Baker gave an update on her recovery from the injury. Baker noted that it was a rough couple of weeks at first, but she was feeling better and everything was looking good. Baker said then that she hoped to be cleared to return any day now.

The Casino Battle Royale will be part of the All Out pre-show. There will be 21 entrants, including members of the AEW women’s division and others who aren’t signed with the company. The winner will advance to the match to crown the inaugural AEW Women’s Champion.

The first AEW Women’s Champion will be crowned on the promotion’s TV debut on Wednesday, October 2.
