Britt Baker rumors ‘blown way out of proportion,’ according to multiple people in AEW

Reports that Britt Baker might be done with AEW appear to be “blown way out of proportion,” says our own Bryan Alvarez.

Baker’s status with the company drew headlines on Monday following reports that she is “wildly unpopular” in the AEW women’s locker room and that Tony Khan may no longer be booking her for TV due to being “fed up” with her.

Alvarez wrote to his subscribers on X:

“From talking to multiple people within AEW, the Britt Baker stories all over the Internet today appear to be blown way out of proportion. She’s not being used and there don’t appear to be any imminent plans, but there’s nothing to her being finished with the company.”

Baker’s last match was a win over Penelope Ford on the November 13, 2024, edition of AEW Dynamite. Following the bout, Serena Deeb walked out on stage, and it appeared an angle was building between the two. Baker was heard saying, “Nobody cares,” as the segment came to an end, and Deeb wore a t-shirt with “Nobody Cares” written on it to the ring for her match on the December 7 AEW Collision. However, neither Deeb nor Baker have wrestled in AEW since then.
