Brock Anderson confirms AEW departure

Brock Anderson is ready for his next chapter after departing AEW.

Last week, Anderson was removed from the roster page on AEW’s website. He wrote a social media post on Monday confirming his departure from the company. Anderson thanked everyone who has supported him. He also sent a message to his detractors:

To those who’ve supported me and helped me THANK YOU. To my detractors, that’s your right to an opinion. All I can do, to quote [Dustin Rhodes], is to ‘Keep Steppin’. On to the next chapter… #prowrestling

The son of pro wrestling legend and AEW employee Arn Anderson, Brock made his AEW debut in 2021. The 26-year-old Anderson last competed for AEW on the August 12 episode of Collision. Luchasaurus was the TNT Champion at the time and defeated Anderson to retain the title.

Arn Anderson said in August that Brock’s AEW contract was set to expire at the end of that month. Arn hoped that Brock would be able to remain with AEW.

Another change to the roster page on AEW’s website was made last week with Dralistico being added.
