CM Punk vs. Wardlow, two more matches set for AEW Dynamite
Three matches have been announced for next week’s AEW Dynamite.
CM Punk will be in action on the show, facing The Pinnacle’s Wardlow. The match was set up on this week’s Dynamite, as the feud between Punk and Pinnacle’s leader, MJF, continues to pick up steam. Punk caused MJF to be disqualified in a match against Shawn Dean, then promised to continue to hound MJF until he agreed to face him in the ring. Rather than accept the challenge, MJF offered up Wardlow.
In another match set for next week, Hikaru Shida will face Serena Deeb. This will be the fourth meeting between the two since October, all of them coming on Dynamite.
Also announced, Team Taz’s Powerhouse Hobbs will take on Dante Martin. Martin was very briefly a member of Team Taz as well, but left the group on the December 8 Dynamite after eliminating Ricky Starks from the Dynamite Diamond battle royale.
