Contract signing, FTR return set for AEW Dynamite

After last week’s segment ended with one of them not appearing, another Jon Moxley-Kenny Omega contract signing is set for AEW Dynamite.

AEW has announced that a contract signing for Moxley and Omega’s upcoming AEW World Championship match will take place on Dynamite tonight. Moxley defending his World title against Omega will headline next week’s “Winter is Coming” edition of Dynamite.

“@JonMoxley never backs down from a fight and wants to sign on the dotted line,” AEW wrote. “It’s the contract signing between Omega & Moxley for Dec 2nd TONIGHT on Dynamite. Watch #AEWDynamite TONIGHT on @TNTDrama 8e/7c or AEWPlus.com by @FiteTV for our Intl fans.”

Omega came to the ring for their contract signing last Wednesday, but Moxley didn’t appear when his music hit. It was then revealed that Moxley had been laid out by someone backstage. Omega said Moxley isn’t going to avoid their match this time. Omega said he’s going to be at Winter is Coming and he hopes Moxley is too. Omega then signed the contract for their match.

Tonight’s Dynamite will also feature the return of FTR. It will be the first time they’ve appeared since losing the AEW Tag Team titles to The Young Bucks at Full Gear earlier this month,

“Tonight on #AEWDynamite, we make our return following, what is considered, one of the greatest tag team matches in US history,” Dax Harwood tweeted. “We’ve done some soul searching. At first, this was business. Now, our business IS personal. Top to bottom, everyone should Fear The Revelation. #FTR”

Here’s the updated lineup for tonight’s show:

  • Chris Jericho & Jake Hager vs. Christopher Daniels & Frankie Kazarian
  • AEW Women’s Champion Hikaru Shida defends her title against Anna Jay
  • PAC & Rey Fenix vs. Butcher & Blade
  • Hangman Page vs. John Silver
  • Top Flight vs. Jack Evans & Angelico
