Danhausen returns to AEW on Dynamite

Danhausen has returned to AEW.

After being on the shelf since March after suffering a pectoral injury at Revolution, Danhausen made his return on Wednesday’s Thanksgiving Eve Dynamite in the corner of Orange Cassidy, Hook, and Katsuyori Shibata in a trios match against Jake Hager, Matt Menard, and Angelo Parker. Prior to the bout, Cassidy introduced Danhausen as a surprise to the crowd.

After weeks of vignettes building up his comeback, Danhausen’s return was originally announced in advance on the November 3 edition of Rampage with the nebulous distinction that he would return “next week.” The return did not materialize until this week, however.

Danhausen suffered a pectoral injury in a Tag Team title match at the Revolution pay-per-view in March in teaming with Cassidy against then-Tag champs The Gunns, The Acclaimed, and Jeff Jarrett & Jay Lethal.

In a social media post, Danhausen revealed that the injury was a torn right pectoral muscle.
