Danhausen set for AEW in-ring debut against Tony Nese on Dynamite

Danhausen will make his AEW in-ring debut on this week’s Dynamite. 

AEW president Tony Khan announced on Twitter that Danhausen will face Tony Nese in his first match for the promotion on Wednesday’s show. 

The bout was set up on last week’s AEW programming, with Nese calling out Danhausen in a backstage promo, then followed up with an in-ring segment where Danhausen asked Hook to be in his corner for the match, but Hook declined.

Six matches and two other segments have now been announced for Wednesday’s show in Long Island, New York.

  • Owen Hart Foundation Men’s Tournament quarterfinal: Darby Allin vs. Jeff Hardy
  • Owen Hart Foundation Men’s Tournament quarterfinal: Adam Cole vs. Dax Harwood

  • CM Punk vs. John Silver
  • FTW Championship: Ricky Starks(c) vs. Jungle Boy
  • Danhausen vs. Tony Nese
