Darby Allin qualifies for AEW Owen Hart Foundation Men’s Tournament

Darby Allin has qualified for the AEW Owen Hart Foundation Men’s Tournament. 

Allin defeated Swerve Strickland in a qualifying match on this week’s AEW Rampage to punch his ticket for the Owen Cup. Allin used a cradle to score a flash pin on Strickland. 

Five wrestlers have now qualified for the men’s Owen Cup. Allin joins ROH World Television Champion Samoa Joe, Kyle O’Reilly, Adam Cole, and Dax Harwood in qualifying. 

An unspecified number of participants are set for the Tournament, with the finals set for the May 29 Double or Nothing pay-per-view in Las Vegas. 

Joe defeated Max Caster to qualify, O’Reilly defeated Jungle Boy, Cole defeated NJPW’s Tomohiro Ishii, and Harwood defeated FTR teammate Cash Wheeler to cement his place. 

Jeff Hardy vs. Bobby Fish in another qualifying match is set for the Wednesday, May 4 Dynamite in Baltimore.
