Darby Allin says he feels ‘amazing’ despite injury
Darby Allin says he feels great despite not being medically cleared.
In an interview with 680 The Fan, Allin says that he feels great despite recently being hospitalized following his match against Kevin Knight. According to Allin, the only thing keeping him back is AEW’s medical team.
“I feel a million bucks right now, I’m not lying. But I’m just not medically cleared. They’re just saving me from me. Which is fine, which is good. But at the end of the day, I feel amazing right now,” he said.
It was first revealed that Allin was hurt during last week’s Dynamite, when he was shown in the hospital following his first Continental Classic touranment match against Kevin Knight. In last week’s Observer Newsletter, it was reported to be a head injury following a coast to coast dropkick by Knight. AEW announced over the weekend that Allin was out of the tournament as a result of his injuries and Jack Perry would be taking his place.
AEW has yet to announce Continental Classic tournament matches for this week. The tournament will conclude at Worlds End on December 27.
