DDP to present diamond ring to Page vs. MJF winner on AEW Dynamite
This week’s episode of Dynamite will include a special appearance by Diamond Dallas Page.
AEW has announced that DDP will appear on Wednesday’s Dynamite and present the Dynamite diamond ring to the winner of Hangman Page vs. MJF.
Hangman Page vs. MJF was set up by them being the final two wrestlers in the Dynamite Dozen battle royal last Wednesday. The stipulation was that the final two in the battle royal would advance to a singles match, with the winner getting the diamond ring.
DDP last appeared for AEW on the October 23 episode of Dynamite. DDP, MJF, and Dustin Rhodes backed up Cody Rhodes in a brawl against AEW World Champion Chris Jericho and the Inner Circle.
MJF turned against Cody at Full Gear. He threw in the towel while Jericho had Cody locked in the Liontamer, with MJF then low blowing Cody after the match.
Cody will return to in-ring action on Wednesday’s Dynamite. The show is taking place at the Sears Centre Arena in Hoffman Estates, Illinois and will also feature Jericho vs. Scorpio Sky for the AEW World title and Kenny Omega vs. PAC.
