AEW names appearing in new Steven Spielberg film

It was previously reported by PWInsider that there would be several pro wrestling scenes filmed for the new Steven Spielberg film Disclosure Day, which opens officially today in theaters.

It’s now been confirmed that the film opens with two AEW stars being featured, namely Brian Cage and Lance Archer/Hoyt of the Don Callis Family:

What is Disclosure Day?

Disclosure Day is a 2026 science fiction film by Spielberg. The plot follows a cybersecurity specialist and a local TV meteorologist who team up to steal and expose highly classified government files about past extra-terrestrial encounters and alien intelligence.

The film currently sits at 82% on Rotten Tomatoes. The site’s critics consensus is “A humanistic variation on one of Steven Spielberg’s most revisited themes, Disclosure Day’s breathless pursuit of optimism in an age of conspiracy gets its biggest boost from career-highlight work by Emily Blunt.” The film has a budget of $115 million and a runtime of 145 minutes.
