Eddie Kingston reveals AEW contract status and retirement plans

Eddie Kingston has plans to stay with AEW for several more years.

In a recent interview on Gabby AF, Kingston discussed the length of his current AEW contract. While he revealed that he still has “six more years” left on his deal, he also opened up about his unique retirement plans.

“I have six years left on my contract,” Kingston noted. “I want to make my money and then buy a place in Alaska and get the f**ck away from society.”

“Get me the f**ck to Alaska. As long as I can watch the Yankees, Giants, Knicks, and Rangers, all that stuff with streaming, I’m good. Leave me alone.”

Earlier tonight on the December 10th edition of Dynamite Winter is Coming, Kingston clashed against Samoa Joe in the main event but failed to capture the AEW World Championship. This marked his first World Title match since his injury last year.

Kingston is a former AEW Continental Champion and ROH World Champion. He was also the first-ever winner of the Continental Classic tournament and had secured victories over both Bryan Danielson and Jon Moxley in that tournament to win it. The 43-year-old is also a former New Japan Strong Openweight Champion.
