El Clon AEW return date revealed

El Clon AEW

After months of waiting, AEW has finally revealed El Clone’s return date.

Earlier tonight, during the December 27th edition of AEW Worlds End Zero Hour, the Jacksonville-based promotion posted a tease for El Clon’s return. The masked luchador is now set to return to Collision next year in January.

AEW also uploaded a clip on their social media account, with the caption in binary code that reads “EL CLON ACTIVATED” when decoded.

According to AEW’s storyline and kayfabe, Clon is Hologram’s evil twin character. He joined the Don Callis Family a few months ago on Dynamite, when he cost Orange Cassidy his TNT Championship match. Despite his hype and mystique, Clon has yet to wrestle a match on AEW television.

Original plans for El Clon (portrayed by Arez) were to debut and immediately begin a major feud with Hologram, which would have likely ended his winning streak. However, Hologram’s injury earlier this year put those plans on hold. Both Hologram and Clon are now expected to return soon.

Despite the tease, there is currently no confirmed date for the return, except that it is scheduled for January 2026.
