Former AEW wrestler Kiera Hogan 'can’t wait to get back' to wrestling

Former AEW wrestler Kiera Hogan has opened up about her wrestling return intentions.

After months away from in-ring action, Hogan recently made herself available for in-ring work by taking bookings again. In a recent interview with Hitting The Turnbuckle Podcast, Hogan opened up about her hiatus. She mentioned that while the experience has been “enlightening,” she is not used to it.

I mean, honestly, it’s been a very enlightening experience. This is the first time in my 11-year career that I have ever been out of wrestling this long, and it has been crazy. I am not used to it at all, but I have learned a lot, and I’ve been able to watch a lot just being away from wrestling,” Hogan shared.

She further continued and added that she “can’t wait to get back” to wrestle now. “But it’s also given me a chance to miss it, because I feel like I was at a place in my career where I was just kind of stagnant. I wasn’t really happy; I wasn’t really fulfilled. But I feel like I miss it so much now that I can’t wait to get back to it so now I’m just excited.

Toward the concluding moments of the interview, Hogan also opened up and discussed her chances of appearing on the indies and TNA Wrestling.

“I think I just miss hustling. Like I miss working. I miss being recognized for my work and not just earning my paycheck, you know, like I love earning my money. I like earning my respect. I feel like most of my career, especially early on in my career, I got told that I was going to get booked because I’m a pretty face,” Hogan shared. “But that’s just that’s not all I am. I’ve always been an athlete. And I feel like there’s a lot of wrestlers, no shade, that aren’t athletic. But I’ve always been an athlete, and I feel like, yeah, I’m I’m pretty I have a great personality, but I can also move. I can also strike. I can also do spots. I can also sell my ass off. And I feel like I just like to let my work speak for itself,” she finished.

Hogan, 31, was a part of Impact Wrestling from 2017 to 2021 until she joined the AEW/ROH roster. A former Impact Knockouts Tag Team Champion, Hogan spent a brief few years in AEW before leaving the promotion in September, 2025. While her last ROH match dates back to 2024, her latest wrestling match was in 2025 against The King Bees (Charity King & Danni Bee) in a tag team match alongside Tasha Steelz.
