Doc Gallows was reportedly backstage at AEW recently.

According to a report from PWInsider on Thursday, Gallows was backstage at Wednesday’s AEW Dynamite at The Pinnacle in Nashville, Tennessee. No further details were provided.

The 42-year-old Gallows wrestled on several episodes of AEW Dynamite in 2021 while he and Karl Anderson were both signed to IMPACT Wrestling.

Gallows and Anderson were among the WWE releases announced in February 2025. It marked Gallows’ third stint with the company.

Gallows first signed with WWE in 2005 and made his main roster debut in 2006 as a fake Kane. He later returned to the main roster in 2007 as Festus in a tag team with Terry Gordy’s son, Ray Gordy, who wrestled as Jesse. Gallows later joined CM Punk’s Straight Edge Society before being released in November 2010.

Following a successful run with Bullet Club in New Japan Pro-Wrestling, Gallows returned to WWE in 2016 alongside Anderson before both were released as part of WWE’s April 2020 roster cuts.

Since his latest WWE release, Gallows and Anderson have competed for Pro Wrestling NOAH. They are members of the Contra Mercs stable in MLW and have also wrestled for Maple Leaf Pro Wrestling and the NWA.
