FTR issue AAA Tag Team title open challenge for AEW Dynamite
FTR have issued an open challenge for their AAA World Tag Team Championships for Wednesday’s AEW Dynamite, with one caveat.
Dax Harwood and Cash Wheeler announced in a promo that aired on tonight’s AEW Dark that they will defend the AAA Tag titles against any luchadores, except for The Lucha Brothers, Penta El Zero Miedo and Rey Fenix.
FTR defeated Penta and Fenix for the AAA Tag titles on the October 16 episode of Dynamite. They are also scheduled to face Penta and Fenix at AEW Full Gear on Saturday, November 13 for the AEW World Tag Team Championships.
FTR’s open challenge joins Cody Rhodes vs. Andrade El Idolo, an Anna Jay vs. Jamie Hayter TBS Championship tournament match, plus Jon Moxley vs. Orange Cassidy in the AEW World title eliminator tournament semifinals on this week’s Dynamite.
