Hangman Page confirms he’ll never challenge for AEW World title again
Hangman Page has made it clear what his future goals are.
After being gone from the promotion since March, Page returned at the start of Saturday’s AEW Collision in his home state of Virginia. He started to talk about his gardening hobby, which led to him talking about planting seeds. He wanted to plant one tonight, and while he didn’t know if it would blossom or grow at all, he would do it regardless.
A new focus on other titles
He reiterated that as a result of his loss to MJF, he can never challenge for the AEW World title again. But he then started to mention other champions such as TNT Champion Kevin Knight and International Champion Kyle Fletcher, hinting he could go for other titles in the company. He closed by saying that he has defined himself for the last seven years, and now he’s going to find something else to do.
Page was last seen on March 15, losing to MJF at Revolution in a Texas Death Match where the stipulation was if Page lost, he could never challenge for the title again. Kenny Omega recently agreed to that stipulation as well but ended up succeeding this past Wednesday, defeating MJF for the World title on Dynamite.
