Hangman Page returning at AEW House Rules event

Hangman Page looks to be set for his first match in nearly two months.

AEW posted a tweet today hyping that a match between Page and Big Bill is scheduled for this Saturday’s House Rules event in Salem, Virginia. Page hasn’t wrestled since teaming with Evil Uno & Stu Grayson against Jon Moxley, Claudio Castagnoli & Wheeler Yuta on the March 15 episode of Dynamite.

The April 5 edition of Dynamite included an injury angle where the Blackpool Combat Club beat down Page and drove a screwdriver into his eye.

AEW stated that Big Bill has refused to postpone the House Rules match against Page.

Prior to being injured by the #BCC, #HangmanPage had signed a contract for a match vs #BigBill TOMORROW, Sat. 5/13 @ #AEWHouseRules in Salem, VA. @TheCaZXL has refused to postpone the match; will Hangman Page show up in Salem tomorrow?

Page posted a photo on his Instagram Stories today of his wrestling boots and a leather eyepatch.

AEW has House Rules shows taking place in Corbin, Kentucky tonight (Friday, May 12) and Salem, Virginia tomorrow (Saturday, May 13). Saturday’s event also includes a TNT Championship match with Wardlow defending against Lee Moriarty.
