‘Important announcement’ by Tony Khan set for AEW Dynamite
Tony Khan has a special announcement.
While promoting this Wednesday’s Dynamite in Pittsburg, Pennsylvania, it was revealed that Tony Khan will be making a ‘important announcement.’ Details on what that announcement could be were not revealed.
Previous announcements made on Dynamite include tickets for All In 2024 at Wembley Stadium going on sale and the announcement of the first-ever Forbidden Door crossover event between AEW and NJPW back in 2022, which took place at the United Center in Chicago.
Already announced for the show is a six-man tag team match. Kazuchika Okada, Konosuke Takeshita, and Hechicero will take on Mark Briscoe, Hologram, and a mystery competitor that has been heavily teased to be the returning Orange Cassidy. When promoting their match during All Out, Briscoe asked Kyle O’Reilly if ‘he’ was ready. O’Reilly, who was on his phone talking to the mystery person, replied with ‘whatever,” Cassidy’s signature phrase.
