Isiah Kassidy shares what he did during AEW absence
Isaiah Kassidy is shedding some light on what he’s been doing in the last year.
Prior to their return on last Wednesday’s Dynamite, he and Marq Quen hadn’t been on AEW television since losing the Tag Team titles to the Hurt Syndicate thirteen months prior. While Kassidy didn’t go into details regarding their long absence from AEW television, he did shed some light on what he has been doing outside of his AEW career on his vlog.
“I’ve been really consistent in the gym and consistent with training too, that’s why I said I think I’m ready,” he explained. “I’ve been picking up books, I’ve been traveling the world, getting to see family, getting closer to God…just creating moments and memories.”
“Despite everything that was going on in my career, I had a great time, man,” he added. “I didn’t let what was going on determine what I’m going to do outside of it. I still live my life. I still have a great time, I’m going to be honest.”
Kassidy also revealed that he got the news about Private Party’s return on February 5.
Private Party returned on Wednesday as the mystery wild card team in a match also featuring The Young Bucks and The Rascalz. Matt & Nick Jackson won the match, earning themselves a future title match against AEW Tag Team Champions FTR.
