Jay White returns at AEW x NJPW Forbidden Door
After months of absence, Jay White has returned to AEW television at the AEW x NJPW Forbidden Door PPV.
During the AEW World Tag Team Championship match between the teams of Adam Copeland & Christian Cage against The Dogs (David Finlay and Clark Connors), White made his shocking comeback.
Toward the closing moments of the match, David Finlay attacked Christian Cage with a shillelagh and tried doing the same with Copeland when the lights in the arena went out. It came back partially to reveal The Bang Bang Gang on the arena stage, while a mysterious figure entered the ring. Shortly after, as the lights completely came back on, Jay White stood in the ring.
White confronted Finlay and hit him with the Blade Runner, as Copeland followed it up with a spear and kept Finlay down for the three-count. The segment finished with White handing over the AEW World Tag Team titles to Copeland and Cage, although White and the latter shared a moment of tension between each other.
White had been out of action for over a year, with his last match taking place in March 2025 against Kevin Knight. After multiple teases on social media, White has finally come back to AEW.
