Jim Ross shares health update, says he’s been hospitalized for more than three weeks
Jim Ross revealed on Saturday that he has been hospitalized for more than three weeks.
The 74-year-old posted to X that he is currently watching the Oklahoma Sooners baseball team from a hospital in Norman, Oklahoma.
JR wrote:
“Day 22 in the hospital in Norman. Watching @CWSOmaha with my @soonerbaseball. Thanks for everyone’s kind thoughts and prayers. Don’t count me out just yet. I’m still fighting!”
JR also provided a health update last month, revealing he suffered a fall prior to AEW Double or Nothing 2026, where he was on the call for Jon Moxley’s defense of the Continental Championship against Kyle O’Reilly.
Ross also said last month that he is being evaluated for dementia/Alzheimer’s. Speaking on his Grilling JR podcast, Ross said he was going through a series of tests.
“We’ll see how it works out. I’m going through a lot of tests now,” JR said. “I don’t feel bad at all. I feel great, actually. But you know, Conrad, let me tell you something buddy. Getting old is a bitch.”
