Jon Moxley International title defense added to AEW Dynamite

Jon Moxley isn’t waiting long to make his first defense of the AEW International Championship.

AEW has announced that Moxley will put the International title on the line against AR Fox on tonight’s episode of Dynamite. Moxley won the championship from Orange Cassidy at All Out this Sunday.

The Moxley vs. Fox match was announced as an International Championship open challenge.

AEW wrote: “TONIGHT LIVE on #AEWDynamite from Indianapolis, Indiana #AEW International Championship Open Challenge @JonMoxley (c) vs @ARealFoxx. Don’t miss Wednesday Night #AEW Dynamite LIVE @ 8/7c on @TBSNetwork”

Moxley vs. Orange Cassidy headlined Sunday’s All Out pay-per-view. With his victory, Moxley ended Cassidy’s nearly 11-month long reign as champion.

Fox unsuccessfully challenged Cassidy for the International title on the July 26 episode of Dynamite.

Tonight’s Dynamite is being held at Indiana Farmers Coliseum. Here’s what’s been announced for the episode:
