Jon Moxley will face Jeff Hardy on this week’s AEW Dynamite.
AEW’s Tony Khan announced the new match for the Wednesday, January 31 episode in a social media post on Monday, touting this week’s Dynamite as the official return of the promotion’s rankings. Khan wrote:
Mox vs Jeff Hardy 1-on-1 for the first time ever, fighting for a valuable win on the night that the AEW Rankings make a long-awaited return: THIS WEDNESDAY!
Five matches are now set for this week’s Dynamite. Already announced are Hangman Page vs. Toa Liona in a Dealer’s Choice match where Swerve Strickland chose Page’s opponent, Strickland vs. TBA in a Dealer’s Choice match where Page picks his opponent, Chris Jericho vs. Kyle Fletcher, plus Deonna Purrazzo vs. Taya Valkyrie with Women’s World Champion Toni Storm on commentary.
