Jon Moxley vs. Joey Janela official for AEW Fyter Fest

Jon Moxley has an opponent for his AEW in-ring debut.

Moxley vs. Joey Janela is now official for AEW Fyter Fest in Daytona Beach, Florida on Saturday, June 29. The matchup was set up on this week’s Being the Elite, with a confrontation between Moxley and Janela closing the episode.

Moxley made a surprise appearance at Double or Nothing on Saturday night. AEW then announced that Moxley has signed a full-time, multi-year deal with them.

IWGP United States Heavyweight Champion Juice Robinson defending his title against Moxley is set for NJPW’s Best of the Super Juniors finals on Wednesday, June 5. Moxley has also been announced for five Northeast Wrestling shows this summer, including matches against Pentagon Jr. and Darby Allin.

Fyter Fest is taking place at the Ocean Center and is in partnership with CEO Fighting Game Championships.

Tickets for Fyter Fest are going on sale to the general public at noon Eastern time tomorrow (May 29).
