Jungle Boy vs. Jay Lethal added to AEW Dynamite

Update —

Jay Lethal has accepted Jungle Boy’s open challenge for tonight’s Dynamite:

“Jungle Boy” Jack Perry will be in action on tonight’s episode of Dynamite.

Ahead of tonight’s show, AEW posted a video of Jungle Boy being interviewed as he arrived to the arena. Jungle Boy announced that he’s signed an open contract for a match on Dynamite tonight.

At All Out, Jungle Boy and Christian Cage were set to face off in a grudge match. But Christian won the match within seconds after Luchasaurus turned against Jungle Boy and attacked him during his entrance.

The Jungle Boy vs. Christian match at All Out was kept short due to Christian entering the pay-per-view with an injury. The word was that Christian’s injury is a torn triceps, though that has yet to be officially confirmed.

Jungle Boy said in his interview before tonight’s Dynamite that he’s looking to get back into the swing of things after things didn’t go the way he expected at All Out.

Tonight’s show is taking place at MVP Arena in Albany, New York. Here’s the updated lineup:

  • Tournament of Champions second-round match: Bryan Danielson vs. Chris Jericho
  • Tournament of Champions second-round match: Jon Moxley vs. Sammy Guevara
  • Toni Storm & Athena vs. Britt Baker & Serena Deeb
  • Jungle Boy vs. Jay Lethal
