A segment involving Jungle Boy has been announced for AEW Dynamite.

On Tuesday, AEW posted to social media that "we'll hear from" Jungle Boy on Wednesday's show.

Fans haven't heard from Jungle Boy since he was attacked by Christian Cage on the June 15 edition of Dynamite. The angle took place following Jungle Boy and Luchasaurus dropping the AEW World Tag Team Championships to the Young Bucks that night.

Jungle Boy returned to confront Cage on last week's show. After Cage and Luchasaurus defeated the Varsity Blondes, Jungle Boy came to the ring with a steel chair. Luchasaurus then stepped aside and allowed him to chase after Cage, who escaped through the crowd.

AEW Dynamite this week will be the fourth edition of Fight for the Fallen. It will take place from the DCU Center in WorcesterMassachusetts. The lineup for the show is as follows:

  • Interim AEW World Champion Jon Moxley defends against Rush
  • AEW Women's World Champion Thunder Rosa defends against Miyu Yamashita
  • FTW Champion Ricky Starks defends against Danhausen
  • Bryan Danielson vs. Daniel Garcia
  • Handicap match: Swerve Strickland vs. Tony Nese & "Smart" Mark Sterling (Keith Lee is banned from ringside)
  • We'll hear from Jungle Boy
