Kenny Omega vs. Andrade part of next week’s AEW Dynamite lineup

Kenny Omega will battle Andrade El Idolo as part of next week’s AEW Dynamite with the winner getting one step closer to an AEW World title shot.

Andrade defeated Swerve Strickland in the night’s main event to advance in the newly-announced contender’s series that will create the challenger for the AEW World title at March’s Revolution.

The winner of Omega vs. Andrade will then move on to next month’s Grand Slam Australia where they will compete in a match to crown that challenger.

Also announced, Ricochet will also defend his AEW National Championship against Jack Perry in Las Vegas. The two have been feuding for months now with Perry once failing to win the title from Ricochet. Having defended it six times already, the 37-year-old will now take on Perry once more.

Earlier in the evening, it was announced that MJF will face Brody King in an World title eliminator match. Iff King manages to secure a victory next week, it will give him a title shot against MJF in Sydney, Australia.

The Young Bucks will also be in action against opponents to be named.
