Kenny Omega vs. Kip Sabian set for AEW Dark tapings
This week’s AEW Dark tapings will include the third match Kenny Omega has had on the show.
AEW has announced Omega vs. Kip Sabian for the episode of Dark that’s being taped at the State Farm Center in Champaign, Illinois tonight. It will air on YouTube at 7 p.m. Eastern time next Tuesday.
Omega defeated Jack Evans on last week’s AEW Dark. The match was the first time Omega has defended his AAA Mega Championship.
Omega also defeated Joey Janela in an unsanctioned match on the second episode of AEW Dark in October.
On last week’s Dynamite, Omega defeated PAC in a rematch from All Out. AEW posted video of a promo over the weekend where PAC demanded another match against Omega. They each have one win against each other in singles matches in AEW.
Sabian’s most recent appearance was as an entrant in the Dynamite Dozen battle royal two weeks ago.
