Kenny Omega’s visa issue resolved, cleared to return to AEW

Kenny Omega, who hasn’t appeared on AEW television since January 11 due to a visa issue, has been cleared and he will be at Dynamite tomorrow in Dayton, Ohio.

It is not clear what role Omega may or may not have on the show, since he wasn’t advertised ahead of time to be there.

Omega’s clearance should pave the way for a planned Omega & The Young Bucks AEW Trios title defense against Top Flight & AR Fox, which has been in the planning stages for weeks but AEW was not able to announce the date because of the visa issue.

Omega & The Young Bucks won the Trios titles on that January 11 episode of Dynamite in Los Angeles, defeating Death Triangle (PAC, Penta El Zero Miedo & Rey Fenix) in a ladder match. The matchup was the final in the best-of-seven series between The Elite and Death Triangle.
