TNT Champion Kyle Fletcher believes AEW is ‘the best place in the entire world to wrestle.’
Currently in the UK to promote the upcoming All In PPV at Wembley Stadium, Fletcher and his partner Skye Blue recently appeared on WhatCulture Wrestling for an interview.
When asked about the current backstage atmosphere in AEW, Fletcher opened up and heaped praise on it. Previously expressing his love for the promotion, Fletcher did it again, but this time in more detail.
“The vibe is just it’s hard to put your finger on, but it’s just I think it’s the fact that everyone there wants to be there and everyone is so passionate about not just pro wrestling, but the company itself, and everyone just wants to go out there and do their absolute best every single time. I think individually every single person on the roster is just on their absolute A-game and they want to see this place succeed,” Fletcher said.
Calling it the “best place,” he continued, “And they want to keep this momentum rolling, and you know the ratings and the pay-per-view buyers and all this stuff is kind of just reaffirming that AEW is the best place in the entire world to wrestle. It just makes me excited to go out there every single night.”
“I could be doing anything. I could be wrestling anybody. I could be cutting a promo. I could be doing whatever. And I just want to go out there and do my absolute best for the fans, for the company, for all of it because I just feel like I’m so grateful to be in this position,” he added. “I’m so grateful to be with such a great company, and I just want AEW to be the biggest and best it possibly can be, and I want to do my part in that.”
The reigning TNT Champion, Fletcher, is also a former Trios Champion, where he held the titles with Mark Davis and Kazuchika Okada before losing them at the Revolution PPV.
