Kyle Fletcher calls Stevie Richards’ thoughts on Logan Paul ‘bullsh*t’

Kyle Fletcher disagrees with Stevie Richards.

Former ECW and WWE star Richards is a big fan of Logan Paul, saying the part-time wrestler/full-time influencer is better than “everybody in AEW” and “better than 98% of the WWE roster as well.” AEW star Kyle Fletcher disagrees.

“I don’t know if he believes that wholeheartedly,” Fletcher said in an interview with TMZ. “If he does, like I said, everyone’s entitled to their opinion. I think that opinion is bullsh*t personally.”

“I think the roster that we have at AEW, the matches that are that you see on a weekly, bi-weekly, like monthly basis—I am astounded. Like, I can’t even keep up. Like, I watch one match that I go that’s the best match I’ve seen this year. And then the next week I’ll see the another match that I think is the best match this year. It’s just it’s an absurd, it’s an absolutely absurd claim to make.

“No hate on Logan Paul doing great stuff. Good for you. He’s been in the business five years if that. So the level that he’s performing at is insane. Do I think he’s better than Kenny Omega, Will Ospreay? Not a f*cking chance.”

Fletcher also mentioned that it can be hard for those in the business to adapt to a new audience. “They think whatever they did is the best way it can be done,” he said. “And I think a lot of people in wrestling feel like that. And it’s just not true. The business is constantly evolving, constantly changing. I think if you put, just for example, a me and Will Ospreay match on any wrestling card before 2000, the people watching it would just be losing their minds at the things that they are witnessing.”

Fletcher also talked about the pressures he feels as TNT champion, how Don Callis has helped him, and how Mark Briscoe might fit in the Don Callis Family.
