The first match for Wednesday’s edition of AEW Dynamite has been confirmed.

AEW Women’s World Champion Mariah May vs. Queen Aminata in a title-eliminator bout is now scheduled for the show. This follows Aminata coming out to rescue Skye Blue from May’s attack during Saturday’s All Out Zero Hour.

Aminata would later issue a challenge to the champion in a video AEW posted to social media.

AEW confirmed the match on Tuesday, writing:

“After her win Friday on #AEWRampage, Queen Aminata stepped up to World Champion Mariah May Saturday, now she’ll fight #TheGlamour on Dynamite TOMORROW NIGHT!”

Aminata has won her last three singles matches in AEW. She defeated Missa Kate on Rampage last week, defeated Skye Blue in June, and Anna Jay in February.

AEW Dynamite this week takes place at the Rupp Arena in Lexington, Kentucky. No other matches have been announced for the show thus far.
