Mark Davis to make another AEW National title defense in RevPro
Coming off a successful defense over the weekend, Mark Davis is ready to put his AEW National Championship on the line in the United Kingdom again.
Revolution Pro Wrestling has announced that Davis vs. UK indie star Man Like DeReiss will take place at the promotion’s British J-Cup event in Stevenage, England this Saturday (June 27). Davis retained the AEW National title against Joe Lando for RevPro on June 21 and will be defending it again here.
The AEW National Championship was created in 2025 as a title that, while also defended in AEW/ROH, is intended to be taken across the world in matches for outside promotions like RevPro. Since the title was established, Ricochet, Jack Perry, and Davis have been champion. Davis’ reign began when he defeated Perry in May.
Davis has made four defenses of the belt during his reign. One of those will air on HonorClub this Thursday with Davis vs. Ace Austin taking place on ROH Global Wars: Cincinnati.
Gordon Craig Theatre is hosting Saturday’s event, with the one-night British J-Cup tournament set to feature Jacky Kamei, Robbie X, Nino Bryant, Marcus Mathers, Leon Cage, Joe Lando, Will Kaven, and Samuel Saint-Daniels.
