Mercedes Mone to challenge for 10th title belt this month
Mercedes Mone has eyes on her tenth championship belt.
Winnipeg Pro Wrestling has announced that Mone will challenge TNA’s Jody Threat for the WPW Women’s Championship. The match will take place Sunday, October 19 at WPW Rumble in the Bert at the Burton Cummings Theatre in Winnipeg, Manitoba.
WPW wrote on X:
“THE CEO COMES TO WPW Mercedes Moné challenges Jody Threat for the WPW Women’s Championship. Will Moné add another belt to her collection, or will The Wild Child put the CEO out of business?! Nearly 1300 tickets are gone, don’t miss out on the biggest event in WPW history!”
Also advertised for the show are Danhausen, Shotzi Blackheart, Karl Anderson, Luke Gallows, and more.
Mone currently holds nine championship belts: AEW TBS Championship, CMLL World Women’s Championship, 2025 Owen Hart Foundation Championship belt, RevPro Undisputed British Women’s Championship, EWA Women’s Championship (Austria), PTW Women’s Championship (Poland), BestYa Women’s Championship (Italy), Queen of Southside Championship (merged with the RevPro title but still carried by Mone), and the Discovery Wrestling Scottish Women’s Championship.
