Mercedes Mone vs. Queen Maya result from Bestya Wrestling in Italy

Mercedes Mone retained the BestYa Women’s Wrestling Championship today.

She defeated Queen Maya at the promotion’s show in Rome, Italy. However, it wasn’t a clean victory, as her partner The Beast Mortos interfered during the match, hitting Maya with a spear that led to the finish.

This was Mone’s first defense of the title she originally won by defeating Diana Strong at a PTW event in Kozlow, Poland, in July. The PTW Women’s Championship was also on the line in the match.

Prior to the match, Mone visited AS Roma, who are based in the city and compete in Serie A Femminile, Italy’s top division of women’s football. The club presented her with a personalized jersey.
