MJF on TNA restricting indie bookings: ‘What Carlos Silva is doing is disgusting’

Lee South Kevin Knight vs MJF El Paso, TX AEW Dynamite March 4, 2026

MJF has more to say about TNA Wrestling.

MJF’s previously scheduled match against Nic Nemeth on May 1 for Create-A-Pro has been scrapped due to TNA blocking its wrestlers from working with those contracted to other companies. The AEW World Champion called into Busted Open Radio on Thursday and was critical of TNA, calling the move “disgusting.”

MJF said:

“Let’s talk about TNA and the fact that they are pulling young talent off of shows when they’re barely paying them any money whatsoever and telling them, ‘Hey, you can’t wrestle because there’s a guy from another promotion that’s wrestling on this show.’ Does that help young talent grow? Does that help young talent become better inside the squared circle? Moreover, does that help young talent put food on their plate so they can eat?

What Carlos Silva is doing is disgusting. And if anybody supports him or that company at this point, it is very hard for me to wrap my head around.”

The AEW World Champion also called TNA president Carlos Silva “a dumb mother—-r” in a social media post earlier on Thursday.

Both MJF and Nemeth will still be on the May 1 Create-A-Pro show in Melville, New York. Nemeth is now set to wrestle Bear Bronson, while MJF will be holding an open challenge. MJF trained at Create-A-Pro under TNA wrestler Brian Myers and AEW Vice President of Talent Development Pat Buck.
