MJF returning to Long Island for HOG event

MJF

AEW World Champion Maxwell Jacob Friedman often brags about his Long Island upbringing. Now he’s going home—House of Glory has announced that MJF we’ll be appearing at their next event in Long Island next month.

Friedman will be appearing at HOG’s No Turning Back show on Friday, February 20, at the Amazura concert hall in Jamaica, New York, less than an hour away from his hometown of Plainview. It is not clear if MJF will be wrestling on the event or just making an appearance, but he did wrestle at the Limitless Rumble in Lewiston, Maine, earlier this month. Friedman defended his championship against Alec Price on that show, then announced that Price and Jordan Oliver were being offered AEW contracts.

Andrade El Idolo was already announced as appearing at No Turning Back in December.

House of Glory was founded in 2012 by former Ring of Honor wrestlers Amazing Red and Brian XL. Rapper and WCW star Master P purchased the company last year. Most of their shows are in New York City, though they have also promoted events in Toronto, Philadelphia, Chicago, and Los Angeles, among other cities.
