MJF takes shot at WWE’s ticket pricing
AEW World Champion recently took a shot at WWE’s current ticket prices while promoting AEW’s more affordable options.
Booked to appear on the upcoming AEW Dynamite show in El Paso, Texas, on March 4th, 2026, MJF recently appeared in an interview with ABC-7 sports director Adrian Ochoa on KVIA, where he shared his thoughts on WWE ticket prices.
“You pay me the big bucks, I’m coming. There is a possibility I might be wrestling on that show, who’s to say? You never know. There might be a title defense in El Paso,” MJF said.
“Unlike WWE, you don’t have to sell the soul of your firstborn to buy a ticket. There are normal prices. You go to AEWtix.com or Ticketmaster.com. We don’t discriminate against poors, the same way the world champ does. I hate you people. Look, but somebody’s gotta pay daddy’s bills and that’s gonna be people like you, okay?“
There were recent rumors about WWE WrestleMania 42 ticket sales going down as a result of the high ticket prices. While there were no confirmations about the report, the promotion was allegedly in discussions about boosting ticket sales, as Allegiant Stadium also later advertised discounted ticket prices.
MJF is currently scheduled to face Adam Page at AEW Revolution on March 15th, 2026, with his World title on the line.
