Multiple title matches announced for next week’s AEW Dynamite
Moments after concluding the January 21st edition of AEW Dynamite, the promotion has already announced multiple new title matches for next week’s Dynamite.
Amidst the ongoing tension between Thekla and Kris Statlander, fans saw the former respond to Statlander’s challenge and share her piece of mind. Launching a rationale rant, Thekla called out Statlander for handing out title shots to everyone before demanding one for herself. Shortly after, an AEW Women’s World title match was announced between Thekla and Statlander.
In addition to the women’s title match, Mark Briscoe will also defend his TNT championship against El Clone on next week’s Dynamite, after the January 24th episode of Collision was canceled due to a winter storm. This Saturday’s Collision will now be taped after the conclusion of the January 21st edition of Dynamite.
Apart from these two matches, FTR will defend their World tag team championship against Jake Doyle and Mark Davis on the same January 28th, 2026 episode of Dynamite, next week.
