A new match has been added to the lineup for tonight’s episode of AEW Dynamite.

Tony Khan revealed early Wednesday morning that Jon Moxley will wrestle Daniel Garcia on this week’s show, which kicks off AEW’s residency in Philadelphia’s 2300 Arena.

“After Mox injured Will Ospreay Sunday following the Lights Out Steel Cage Match, former TNT Champion Daniel Garcia will step up to fight former 4-time AEW World Champion Jon Moxley TONIGHT” Khan wrote.

Garcia’s last match was the Technical Spectacle four-way won by Nigel McGuinness on the August 14 AEW Collision taping in Cincinnati. Garcia was then in McGuinness’ corner for his match against IWGP World Heavyweight Champion Zack Sabre Jr. at Forbidden Door. As for Moxley, he’s coming off The Death Riders’ loss in the Lights Out Steel Cage match at Forbidden Door.

Three matches are now scheduled for this week’s Dynamite. A title celebration for Mercedes Mone was also set up for tonight on the Forbidden Door post-show media scrum, but has not been officially announced. The updated lineup is below.

AEW Dynamite, Wednesday, August 27 —
