New match announced for AEW Dynamite
A new match has been announced for tonight’s episode of AEW Dynamite.
Jon Moxley vs. Mark Davis in a Continental Title Eliminator match has been added to the show. Tony Khan revealed the news on Wednesday, just hours before the show is set to get underway.
Khan wrote:
“After Mox retained the title going the distance at Grand Slam Australia, TONIGHT he fights dangerous Mark Davis, who wants payback for Mox meddling in his Tag Title shot!”
This will be the first time Moxley and Davis have met in singles action.
Tonight’s Dynamite takes place at the Memorial Auditorium in Sacramento, California. According to WrestleTix, 2,672 tickets had been distributed as of Monday. The updated lineup is below:

- Kenny Omega vs. Swerve Strickland
- Jon Moxley vs. Mark Davis in a Continental Championship Eliminator match
- MJF/Hangman Page face-to-face
- Brawling Birds TV debut
- Willow Nightingale vs. Marina Shafir vs. Megan Bayne vs. Mina Shirakawa for the AEW TBS title
